2024 Rare Hare Nebbiolo
Our second vintage of this famous variety was hand harvested from the Malakoff Vineyard in the Victorian Pyrenees region, then fermented in small open fermenters with gentle hand plunging each day until the end of ferment then kept on skins for an extended period for a total of five weeks maceration to refine the substantial structure. After pressing, the wine went to well-seasoned barrels for maturation, then racked just before bottling in February 2024.
