2023 Rare Hare Nebbiolo
Our first vintage of this famous variety was hand harvested from the Malakoff Vineyard in the Victorian Pyrenees region, then fermented in small open fermenters with gentle hand plunging each day for a total of three weeks maceration. After pressing, the wine went to old barrels for maturation, then racked just before bottling in February 2024.

Bouquet: Pomegranate, redcurrants and rose petal aromas with underlying savoury spicy characters.
Palate: Fragrant, almost exotic red fruit flavours with a fresh acidity giving balance to the firm, substantial tannins on the finish.
