2021 RH Shiraz Grenache
The Shiraz (70% of the blend) was harvested from the Malakoff Vineyard in the Victorian Pyrenees region, and the Grenache (30%) was sourced from central Victoria near Nagambie. The two were harvested and fermented separately, with a small proportion of whole bunch ferment in the Shiraz, then blended in late winter and returned to barrel for further maturation.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep red.
Bouquet: Fragrant dark berry aromas and white pepper and subtle vanilla oak on the nose.
Palate: Beautifully balanced with a medium body, the generosity and perfume of the grenache is framed by the plentiful tannin and rich, dark fruit and spicy complexity of the shiraz.
